Effects
Botulinum toxin is a bacterial protein that is produced naturally. After it is injected into a muscle by a medical expert, it directly blocks the local motor nerve impulse, preventing the muscle from contracting as usual. Other nerval functions, such as feeling and touch are not affected.
The effects are noticeable within 3 to 5 days and normally last from about 3 to 6 months. It is advisable to repeat the treatment at that point. As the muscle weakens, the length of the intervals between treatments steadily increases.

Treatment

After the treatment:
- Cool the area lightly
